Villa Cerretello forms part of the Santo Stefano estate, a 600 hectars Tuscan estate south east of Florence and close to the village of Montaione (6km). The estate consists of seven old Tuscan style individual villas and 12 apartments which have been carefully restored back to their former glory and style. Each property has all the comforts of modern living, including a private infinity swimming pool. All villas can be rented for longer or shorter holidays, for meetings, reunions, celebrations of special moments, such as weddings, and anniversaries.  The apartments can be rented also for a quality weekend with family and friends in the unique Tuscan atmosphere.

Villa Cerretello was formerly a hunting lodge and lies on a gentle hilltop surrounded by private grounds and gardens. The property borders on the private wildlife reserve of Fattoria Santo Stefano, woodland, olive groves and vineyards. The villa is fully restored in true Tuscan style, using only top quality and original local materials. Villa Cerretello is part of the 1000 acre private country estate dating back to the 11th. Century when Santo Stefano was a fortified castle and village life went on within its walls.All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms and air condition.

Ground floor: very spacious double dining area, great fireplace lounge area with phone, sitting/reading room with SAT-TV/video and open fireplace, large country kitchen  with dishwashing machine, microwave, large American style fridge/freezer, coffee maker etc.. Two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom, all with direct access to the garden.

First floor: this floor is divided into three wings and has a total of six bedrooms. Each wing has a private entrance by an external staircase (old Tuscan villas were built in this way).

North east wing: Two double bedrooms.

Central wing Master apartment: Covered balcony, large lounge, dining area with kitchenette, one double bedroom and one spacious twin room.

South wing - Pool Facing apartment: Pool facing balcony, lounge with dining area and kitchenette, small sitting/reading room with sofa bed, one double bedroom and one twin bedroom.

Poolside Granary apartment: Large double bedroom with open fireplace, private sun terrace and direct access to pool.

Villa Certello – general information

Exteriors: Terrace with cushioned teak furniture, sun beds, deckchairs, sun umbrellas. Steps leading down to pool sundeck on one side and onto flat lawn area on the other.  Large covered barbeque area. The pool, terrace and garden are lit up at night.

Laundry Room: washing machine and tumble dryer.

Swimming pool: open 1/5 – 1/10.Infinity pool, size 7,5m x 15m; shallow end 1,2m - deep end 2,5m. In the case of good weather the pool may be opened earlier. During the low season it may be opened at a supplement.

House area: 500m2

Garden and Terrace area: 3500m2

Pets: you may request to bring your pet, but only in low season.
