Villa Le cascine forms part of Santo Stefano, a 600 hectars estate south east of Florence in Tuscany and close to the village of Montaione (6km). The estate consists of seven old Tuscan style individual villas and 12 apartments which have been carefully restored back to their former glory and style. Each property has all the comforts of modern living, including a private infinity swimming pool. All villas can be rented for longer or shorter holidays, for meetings, reunions, celebrations of special moments, such as weddings, and anniversaries.  The apartments can be rented also for a quality weekend with family and friends in the unique Tuscan atmosphere.

Offering elegant simplicity, set in breathtaking natural surroundings and enveloping you in comfortable luxury, Villa Le Cascine is the most secluded and superbly panoramic of all the properties on the Santo Stefano estate. Inspired by the Four Seasons, the colour schemes are in warm, intense tones from sunny ochre to deep red, sage green and blue marine, from old stone to warm terracotta.

Villa Le Cascine is a two floor villa divided into five independent apartments/apartments (see detailed description below). The villa is either let for groups up to 21 persons or for groups up to 29 persons. In the first case, part of the villa will be closed off during the rental period.

When up to 21 persons rent the villa, the villa offers 6 double bedrooms, 3 twin bedrooms, 3 single bedrooms. There are 8 ensuite bathrooms and 3 separate bathrooms (all , except one, with shower. The last one has a tub and a handheld shower).

When up to 29 persons rent the villa, there will be 8 double bedrooms, 5 twin bedrooms, 5 single bedrooms available. In addition there are 10 ensuite bathrooms and 5 separate bathrooms (all, except one, with shower, the last one has a tub and a handheld shower).

Main Villa  - 260m2 - sleeps 12 persons

Ground floor: reception area with sitting area, double dining area which comfortably accommodates 29 guests, or up to 60 guests for parties. Guest/staff bathroom. The main villa kitchen can cater for the whole house and large parties. 1 double bedroom plus 1 twin room, both with ensuite bathroom, 1 single with private bathroom.
In addition there are two separate apartments on the ground floor:

Poolside Apartment 1 - 50m2 - sleeps 3 persons

1 double bedroom, 1 single bedroom, 1 bathroom. Combined living- and dining area, full country kitchen. Suitable for wheelchair access and disabled use.

Poolside Apartment 2 - 60m2 – sleeps 3 persons

1 double bedroom, 1 single bedroom, 1 bathroom. Combined living- and dining area, full country kitchen. Suitable for wheelchair access and disabled use.

First Floor (reached by internal staircase): 2 double bedrooms, 1 twin bedroom and 1 single bedroom, all with ensuite bathroom.
In addition there are two separate apartments on the first floor, both reached by a private outside staircase:

Country View Apartment- 90m2 - sleeps 5
Living room, full country kitchen. 2 steps up to living area. 1 double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom, both with ensuite bathroom, 1 single with private bathroom. 2 steps up to living area. 2 steps down to bedroom area.

Pool View Apartment - 85m2 - sleeps 6
Living room, full country kitchen. 2 double rooms with ensuite bathrooms, 1 twin bedroom with private bathroom with tub. 1 step down to bedrooms.
NB. All twins can be made into doubles. It is possible to make the single rooms in the main villa and Country View Apartment into small doubles on request and subject to a small supplement.

Villa le Cascine - general information

Accessibility: The main villa has two floors connected through an internal stair case. The villa has various floor levels. The apartments on the first floor have private outside staircases. Poolside apartments are suitable for disabled access.
Exteriors: terrace with cushioned wrought iron, sun beds, deckchairs, sun umbrellas. Steps leading down to pool sundeck on one side and onto flat lawn area on the other.  Large covered barbecue area. The pool, terrace and garden are all lit up at night.
 

Swimming pool: open 1/5 – 1/10. Infinity pool 8m x 15m; shallow end 1,2m - deep end 2,5m. Jacuzzi depth 90cm
