Villa Piaggetta is part of the Santo Stefano estate, a 600 hectars Tuscan estate south east of Florence and close to the village of Montaione (6km). The estate consists of seven old Tuscan style individual villas and 12 apartments which have been carefully restored back to their former glory and style. Each property has all the comforts of modern living, including a private infinity swimming pool. All villas can be rented for longer or shorter holidays, for meetings, reunions, celebrations of special moments, such as weddings, and anniversaries.  The apartments can be rented also for a quality weekend with family and friends in the unique Tuscan atmosphere.

Set on the very edge of the wildlife reserve, Villa Piaggetta is a stunningly restored property set in carefully landscaped gardens with generous lawns. Sculpted into the landscape, the vast infinity pool follows the contours of the hillside and the views on all sides are simply breathtaking. Flag-stoned courtyards surround the house and the shady Tuscan stone terrace captures both the sunrise and the sunset. A former hay barn now offers a superbly appointed garden room for sitting, reading dining or relaxing. Restored to its original Tuscan form and beauty, the interiors have been inspired on an Etruscan note. Wonderfully light and airy, furnished with contemporary flair.
The property consists of a main villa with two floors where you find all the bedrooms + a one floor heated and air conditioned cottage consisting of a large room furnished with tables, chairs and a fireplace. Guest bathroom.

 Villa, ground floor: living room with dining area, open fire place and sitting area. Kitchen with 6 ring gas hob, electric oven, fridge freezer, microwave and dishwashing machine. Guest/Staff Bathroom.
3 double bedrooms and 2 twin bedrooms, all with private bathroom.

Villa, first floor: The first floor is divided into two apartments:

Cottage View Apartment Apartment – Private access by outside staircase: 3 double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, combined living- and dining area. Kitchenette with gas hob, electric oven, dishwashing machine. Small guest bathroom. No internal steps.

Garden View Apartment Apartment– Private access by outside staircase: 2 double bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom, all with ensuite bathroom. Combined living- and dining area with kitchenette with gas hob, electric oven and dishwashing machine. No internal steps.

Please note:
All bathrooms have showers, no tubs. Twin rooms can be made into doubles. Twins are small beds and may not be suitable for large or tall adults. 

Villa Piagetta - general information

Exteriors: terrace with cushioned wrought iron, sun beds, deckchairs, sun umbrellas. Steps between terrace and the pool’s sundeck. Large covered pizza oven area. Portable barbeque. Large, flat lawn area. The pool, terrace and garden are all lit up at night.
 

Swimming pool: open 1/5 – 1/10.Infinity irregular shaped pool. Size: 7m x 21m; shallow end 1,2m - deep end 2,5m. Whirlpool bath depth 90cm.
 

Laundry room: washing machine and tumble dryer. 
 

Accessibility: Outside staircases to reach apartments on first floor.

Use of the swimming-pool (open from 01.05 until 01.10) - Pool is not heated - In the case of good weather the pool may be opened earlier. During the low season it may be opened at a supplement.
